For us it’s really important to travel and explore new cities and countries, and we like it so much that we created this blog to share our experiences and pictures. Many of our followers are asking how we manage to do so. Let me start with this; you don’t have to be a millionaire to travel a lot, although it would definitely help :).
There are some really simple tips you should keep in mind while booking your tickets, hotel and other activities during your stay that will influence the price. We are getting better and better at this and managed to have some really affordable holidays.
The example below shows the difference based on location. We like to use hotels that are just outside the touristic area, this will save you a significant amount of money per night in your hotel or apartment.
If you are interested in our other tips, you can subscribe to our newsletter and receive the complete cheat sheet for free in your mailbox, isn’t that easy :)! Oh and by the way, here’s a 15 euro discount coupon for booking.com!

21 June 2017 at 19:21I love this. When I used to work a 9-5 job I always did two big trips a year and about 2 domestic weekend trips a month, people always asked me how I did it. What a great all in one cheatsheet.

21 June 2017 at 19:45I’m always looking for tips to travel on a budget! What are your thoughts on couchsurfing? Any experiences with it? I have considered it but also feel too scared about it. But it sure would cut out much of the travel expenses.

23 June 2017 at 14:26I love to travel a lot too and for me it does not have to be somewhere far or in another country, I enjoy even the little trips to neighbouring town etc.
